| Tuesday 4 April | IC Radio, London Radio session before our Bull & Gate gig |
| Tuesday 4 April | Bull & Gate, London A radio session at ICR then a smashing gig - Frankie Machine switches to bass for the first time. St ill on tour with Johnny Domino, by the way. |
| Monday 10 April | Victoria Inn, Derby The end of the tour with Johnny Domino, seen by eight people on this night. |
| Monday 24 April | Star & Garter, Manchester I played 'Seymour Stein' - it wasn't a good idea, but the rest of the gig was lovely. |
| Thursday 27 April | Victoria Inn, Derby Supporting Half Man Half Biscuit! |
| Sunday 30 April | BBC Radio Bristol, Bristol "My first radio session with Gary Smith, then at The Eagle (""The REAL Alternative"")." |
| Thursday 11 May | The Charlotte, Leicester Supporting Half Man Half Biscuit AGAIN! This time we learned up 'Quality Janitor', and the audience liked us a bit more. |
| Thursday 18 May | BCB Radio, Bradford Session for the Tim Eames show, where I played The Chemistry Experiment, Frankie Machine, and Mambo Taxi, and got shown the TRUTH about commercial radio! |
| Tuesday 13 June | CCAD Radio, Middlesborough Session at a College in Middlesborough. The only people in the building were us! |
| Saturday 1 July | Jug of Ale, Birmingham My friend Mark Guest turned up, and put his name at the top of a list that already said 'Mark - Gues t'. Spooky eh? |
| Wednesday 19 July | Cable Radio, Brighton Radio Session with Melita Dennet, on the day of The Queen Mother's Birthday Parade |
| Monday 7 August | Bull & Gate, London First live showing for 'Symbol Of Our Nation' and I nearly missed my train home afterwards. |
| Saturday 23 September | Roundhay Park, Leeds Tim & Emma's wedding, featuring Surprise Song! |
| Saturday 7 October | The Scala, London Scalarama all dayer - lots of encounters, nearly a fight, I was too scared to say hello to Martin Ca rr but not too scared to throw a glass at The Architect Of Romo when he was heckling me. |
| Monday 16 October | The Blessington Carriage, Derby The Company Song and a general Singalong at the AAS AGM. |
