Stats: Sales at Gigs (unadjusted)

Two tables for the price of one here, showing the top 20 CITIES for gigs and then, even more excitingly, the top VENUES. Cities first:
1. London
2. Sheffield
3. Leicester
4. Manchester
5. Nottingham
6. Hull
7. Cumbria
8. Glasgow
9. Birmingham
10. Cambridge
11. Leeds
12. Brighton
13. Derby
14= Winchester
14= Reading
16= Huntingdon
17= Northampton
18= Peterborough
19= Edinburgh
20= Ipswich

Two interesting FACTS from this one - first of all Hull has dropped down the list quite a bit since last year (nobody bought anything when we played there last year!), and secondly look how low down Ipswich is compared to it's position in the online sales chart! Obviously the people of that fair city prefer to buy their CDs from HOME.

Also of NOTE is the presence of places like Glasgow, Manchester and Cumbria, where I've hardly ever played. This FACTOR will play a big part in the next set of tables! Before that though, here's the top 20 VENUES for flogging stuff:
1. The Avenue, Manchester
2. Firebug, Leicester
3. University of Sheffield Students' Union, Sheffield
4. The Adelphi, Hull
5. The Brook Inn, Cumbria
6= Bunkers Hill Inn, Nottingham
6= The Grapes, Sheffield
8. The Windmill, London
9. Jug of Ale, Birmingham
10. The 12 Bar Club, London
11. The Victory, Leicester
12= Fox & Firkin, London
12= The Green Rooms, Sheffield
14. Bull & Gate, London
15. Carpe Diem, Leeds
16= Tchai Ovna Teahouse, Glasgow
16= Pinup Flights, Glasgow
16= Tapton Halls of Residence, Sheffield
19. Buffalo Bar, London
20= The Captain's Rest, Glasgow
20= The Lion, Stoke Newington, London
20= The Maze, Nottingham

The Avenue is where we played the Retro Gaming Convention a couple of years ago, and sold TONS of t-shirts, which is why it's likely to stay at the top for quite a while! No massive surprises at the top of the list, but it's interesting to see so many places that I've only played once or twice getting into the top twenty - maybe me playing somewhere more often makes people LESS likely to want my stuff?
